"If you can't beat 'em, slander 'em." The Alexis de Tocqueville Institution is a perfect example of legalized prostitution, except there's no sex involved (well, as far as we can tell). Long suspected to be partially bankrolled by Microsoft, the "institution" has made a name for itself by perpetuating some of the most absurd myths about open source ever to see the light of day. Just a week ago, they let us all in on a big secret: open source, the "neutron bomb of IP," is destroying the US economy and will cause millions of people to lose their jobs.
