Organized Crime Felony Conspiracy to Defraud: Committee for a
Constructive Tomorrow, CFACT

CFACT, established in 1985, is a member and organizer of the Cooler
Heads Coalition and the National Consumer Coalition. The free market
think tank focuses on campus organizing and getting their message to
the public through research, media exposure, and a national radio
commentary called "Just the Facts" that is broadcast on 300 stations
daily. CFACT's Board of Academic and Scientific Advisors is a who's
who of climate skeptics and industry-funded scientists. Their
semi-monthly newsletter, "Citizen Outlook," includes an update on news
from the environmental movement called "From the Dark Side," a title
indicative of the contempt CFACT's members have for all facets of
environmentalism. CFACT's President and Executive Director, David
Rothbard and Craig Rucker "are two of the primary voices seeking to
provide a positive alternative to major environmental groups like
Greenpeace, the Sierra Club, and Friends of the Earth." according to
the CFACT website. CFACT received $710,000 between 1991 and 2002 from
Richard Mellon Scaife controlled foundations, the Carthage Foundation
and the Sarah Scaife Foundation.

Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow
A pseudoscience think-tank funded in part by the nuclear industry,
CFACT says the real disaster would be the Climate Change Treaty,
because "any proposed cuts in greenhouse gases...would have a major,
indeed catastrophic, negative impact on people worldwide." CFACT's
president David Rothbard defends organochlorine pesticides, champions
the bovine growth hormone BST, and calls environmentalists "green
locusts." Funded by: Carthage Foundation, U.S. Council on Energy
Awareness.

GERMANY: July 19, 2001 BONN, Germany - As anarchists in Genoa prepared
to storm the G8 summit this weekend, a new breed of protester was on
the streets of Bonn on Wednesday - clean-cut conservatives opposing
the climate treaty being discussed there.

While their leftist counterparts in Italy planned protests against
globalisation and US defence and environment policies, a small group
of US Republican students travelled to Germany to defend their
government's stance on global warming.

Around 20 protesters marched outside the security gates of the United
Nations negotiations which will decide the future of the 1997 Kyoto
climate pact, to back US President George W. Bush's decision to dump
the deal.

"This was an opportunity to come and support our country, support our
president and oppose a terrible treaty," said Craig Rucker, Executive
Director of the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow which organised
the protest.

Rucker, who said he spearheaded a campaign last year against the
environmentalist US presidential candidate Ralph Nader, told Reuters
around 40 like-minded students from around the United States had paid
their own way to travel to Germany to press the rest of the world to
scrap Kyoto.

"Our purpose in this project is to prove that the average college
student isn't a Nader-voting, tree-hugging radical leftist," declared
the group's website which the students had set as the homepage on
computers available to delegates. ...

Bread and Circuses By Lowell Ponte FrontPageMagazine.com | June 20,
2001Frankly, it is time for those on the Right to oppose anti-human
Leftist protesters by organizing protests themselves. Good news: this
summer the Arlington, Virginia-based Leadership Institute will be
working with the Science and Environmental Policy Project (SEPP) and
Collegians for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT) to train college
students to travel to Bonn, Germany, as protesters against the
insanity of the Kyoto global climate treaty, a treaty that could
devastate the global economy and thereby harm the world's poorest
nations most. This will be protesting of the noblest kind, to serve
humanity, individual liberty, and economic freedom. Because CFACT's
Executive Director is Craig Rucker, you might think of this coming
contest between Right and Wrong protesters as the Rucker Society
versus the Ruckus Society.

According to SEPP 2001 filing 990 form, $44,520 was expended for a
global climate science project in Bonn, West Germany, including travel
expenses. Date given, June 06, 2001, does not correspond to date of
student protest, but may reflect the data of transfer of funds prior
to travel.

Here are excerpts from the Washington Times and from CNSNews of June
19
Conservative college students from around the nation will travel to
Washington this summer to train in preparation for protests they will
hold in Bonn, Germany, against the Kyoto climate treaty.

Following the cue of their classmates on the left, who have protested
at other high-profile world events, the students plan to demonstrate
peacefully outside of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change
in Bonn, Germany, and distributing literature. They also hope to meet
with members of the U.S. delegation to the July 16-27 conference as
well as European political leaders and media.

"The bottom line is that we think that all voices should be
represented at this conference," said Daniel LaBert, national field
director with the campus leadership program at the Arlington-based
Leadership Institute.

The nonprofit training organization will host and house about 40
students for a summer workshop on July 11-13 in advance of their trip
to Germany. "We´re just going to give them training on how to get
their message out," Mr. LaBert said.

The trip is being organized by the institute along with the Science
and Environmental Policy Project (SEPP) and Collegians for a
Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT).

CFACT Executive Director Craig Rucker calls the student trip an
educational experience to teach students more about the United Nations
and how the Kyoto treaty works. "We will plan some events that will
draw attention to the fact that there are some young people in America
who do not agree with the Kyoto treaty," he said. "We´re going to give
these students some more ammunition to understand the problems with
the treaty." At a previous U.N. conference at The Hague, college
students showed up to support the agreement, he said, "stating their
opinion that all youth were for the treaty and we need to act now. We
felt it did not encompass the whole viewpoint of youth in the United
States and around the world."

CEI ... As for their reception, the group reported a favorable
response and encountered only minor controversy. "I'm glad we were
here, to do our part to promote the side of logic. Kyoto is an
expensive insurance policy for an empty threat that scientists have
not even agreed exists," said Craig Rucker, director of Committee for
a Constructive Tomorrow, the D.C.-based think tank that, along with
the Campus Leadership Program at the Leadership Institute, coordinated
the trip. As for who won the debate, Rucker opined that the very fact
the Left felt compelled to acknowledge them meant only one outcome was
possible. -- National Review Online

CEI ... Whether or not most Americans are engaged, these students took
it upon themselves to try and impact the process. When asked why they
feel suited to argue with U.N. scientists, Steve Watson of The
Leadership Institute said, "Of course environmentalists will play up
problems and allege catastrophe. That's their job-they compete with
cancer research, illiteracy, and a thousand other social problems for
funding. The larger the problem they claim, the more their funding and
salaries increase.'' ...

New Twist To Kyoto Protests: Conservative Students Join Fray By Seth
Lewis CNSNews.com Correspondent June 19, 2001... Some 35 right-leaning
college students from around the country will pass out fliers and
stage a peaceful demonstration against the Kyoto treaty at next
month's United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Bonn,
Germany.

Before appearing at the July 16-17 conference, the students, who will
pay the $1,000-plus tab themselves, will visit Washington for a
three-day training hosted by the Leadership Institute.

"We're going to give them the tools to get the message out that not
all college students on campuses are extremists," said Rich Moha,
national operations director for the institute's campus leadership
program.

CFACT Leads "Freedom Safari" to Johannesburg, U.N. Mega-Summit on the
earth is target 12/16/2002 8:26:34 PM CFACT activists carried this
banner which reads "Save the Earth FROM Sustainable Development"
during a large protest outside the U.N. World Summit.

Among the "Freedom Safari" highlights:
• Prior to departing for South Africa, the delegation had opportunity
to meet with officials at the U.S. State Department and the Senate
Foreign Relations Committee to discuss the Johannesburg agenda and the
U.S. position heading into the World Summit. The students also
received an intensive half-day workshop at the Leadership Institute
regarding strategies and talking points about free-market
environmental alternatives.

More on student climate crusade

We consider this first Student Climate Crusade in Bonn an unqualified
success. There has never been a demonstration at a Climate Conference
in support of the U.S. position (as expressed by the 1997 Senate vote
and by George Bush). We may do it again, with the cooperation of CFACT
and The Leadership Institute, and involve other organizations opposed
to Kyoto.

HEARTLAND LAUNCHES STUDENT OUTREACH EFFORT

The Arlington, Virginia-based Leadership Institute has provided
Heartland with contact information for more than 200 "active,
independent, conservative student organizations on campuses in 40
states and Washington DC," allowing Heartland to launch its first-ever
effort targeted at that audience.

Among our first efforts with the students will be to send a letter
introducing them to Heartland and adding them to a permanent
complimentary mailing list of Heartland publications. They will be
offered complimentary tickets to Heartland events, including the
annual benefit, and we hope to work with them to arrange campus
appearances by Heartland Senior Fellows and managing editors. We also
hope to identify potential interns, develop a cadre of
letter-to-the-editor and oped writers, and otherwise work with them to
grow their interest in free-market ideas and take advantage of their
enthusiasm to help spread Heartland's message to the next generation.

Roger Bate

In 1993 Bate founded the Environment Unit of the Institute of Economic
Affairs (IEA), a London-based free-market think tank. He later became
the co-director with Julian Morris of the IEA's Environment and
Technology Programme and is still a senior fellow of the IEA.

He is also a fellow of the Morris-directed International Policy
Network whose Washington address is that of the Competitive Enterprise
Institute where Bate is an adjunct fellow.

Bate is also the former executive director of the European Science and
Environment Forum (ESEF) which he co-founded in 1994.

He is the co-author, with Julian Morris, of Fearing Food: Risk, Health
and Environment. The IEA website comments: 'In the latest ESEF book,
Fearing Food, new agricultural and food technologies, including
genetic engineering, are shown to be generally beneficial both to
health and to the environment.' Contributors to the book include
Michael Wilson, John Hillman and Dennis Avery. ...

... In its mission statement on its original website, the ESEF
described itself as 'a non-partisan group of scientists' and claimed,
'To maintain its independence and impartiality, the ESEF does not
accept outside funding from whatever source, the only income it
receives is from the sale of its publications'. (emphasis added)
However, documents released by tobacco giant Philip Morris show that
ESEF was established with money from the tobacco industry - solicited
by Bate. As Big Tobacco's European front organization, ESEF's task was
to smuggle tobacco advocacy into a larger bundle of 'sound science'
issues, including 'restrictions on the use of biotechnology.' Shortly
after the Philip Morris revelations Bate suddenly resigned as Director
of ESEF and its website was taken down. It has subsequently been
relaunched with a different domain name. ...

Tearing Down the Green: Environmental Backlash in the Evangelical
Sub-Culture
The environmental movement has a political agenda that has enjoyed
some success and in the process generated a significant backlash
movement. Evangelical Christians are on both sides of this
controversy, causing no small confusion in the ranks of believers.
Several case studies of anti-environmentalism show the dimensions of
this controversy: 1. Criticism of the Evangelical Declaration on the
Care of Creation; 2. The charge that global eco-war is being planned
as a way for government to gain more control over people; 3. The
emergence of the Wise Use movement; 4. The writings of E. Calvin
Beisner and Larry Burkett, an economist and a financial advisor,
challenging environmentalism from a Christian perspective; and others.
Some people argue that the battles over environmentalism are basically
political, and that the Christian attack on the environmental movement
is primarily a political attack from the right in the name of
Christianity.

Healthy Growth or A Fading American Dream?
Without any doubt the two most prominent critics of environmentalism
from within the Evangelical fold are E. Calvin Beisner and Larry
Burkett. Beisner's book Prospects for Growth14 is directed toward
refuting the notion that human population growth and resource use are
problems. His editorial in World is likely a preview of a book on the
radical environmental world view. In the editorial, Beisner counters
each of the "degradations of creation" listed in the Evangelical
Declaration, and concludes that there is no serious environmental
problem in the world today.

economics at George Mason University who tracks charitable
organizations, the American Cancer Society (ACS) held a fund balance
of over $400 million with about $69 million worth of holdings in real
estate, office buildings, and equipment in 1988.

Cancer Scam : Diversion of Federal Cancer Funds to Politics
by James T. Bennett, Thomas J. Dilorenzo
According to James T. Bennett and Thomas J. DiLorenzo, authors of
Cancerscam, smoking can be good for society, if not for the smoker.
Consider all the money the government could save, for instance, on
social security if millions of people die young from smoking-related
illnesses. Much of Bennett and DiLorenzo's book is taken up with their
argument that the government's campaign against smoking is intrusive
and unwarranted. They liken smoking to other hazardous choices such as
skydiving or skateboarding and point out that there is no national
campaign to educate practitioners of these activities. They then
launch into an attack on the National Cancer Institute and the
American Cancer Society, which they accuse of diverting funds into an
antismoking program run by a left-wing public interest organization.
Cigarette manufacturers and major stockholders in tobacco companies
will love this book; those who deal with the medical, social, and
personal fall-out from smoking, on the other hand, will find little to
agree with here.

safety concerns and regulations of candle wax, table salt, water
coolers, and tobacco products. Claims that groups aim to "ban
activities outright if possible, but if that fails, regulate and tax
the activity so heavily that it is forced out of existence." Discusses
anti-smoking legislation including operation ASSIST, and the claims
that tobacco is under-regulated. Describes tobacco regulation in
detail "from seed-bed to sales-counter." Concludes by warning the
public to "be educated on the real goals of these demands for more
regulation."

issues of concern to the nuclear industry. The on-line database

According to Nucleonics Week, in 2002 NEI's compensation of its

TAKING THE RADON CURE

"An internationally respected radon researcher has uncovered some
surprising and perplexing evidence. High levels of radon exposure are
known to cause lung cancer. Studies of people exposed to such levels
in mines demonstrate that conclusively. Then it follows, most people
have thought, that the best level is zero, and any increase should
produce an increasing rate of lung cancer. But controversial studies
show that this may not be so.

"In one study Dr. Bernard Cohen of the University of Pittsburgh
compared average lung-cancer rates in many counties with the average
radon rates found in the respective counties. It's an ambitious study
- 39,000 measurements in 415 counties.

"The results: In counties where lung cancer in women would have been
expected to be up 25 percent from the radon levels, the incidences of
cancer were actually down 30 percent. There are others. Finland has
average indoor-radon levels of 2.5 picocuries per liter - 2.5 times
higher than the world average. Yet the female lung-cancer rate in
Finland is only 70 percent that of other industrialized countries."

http://www.disinfopedia.org/wiki.phtml?title=Bonner_Cohen&printable=yes
[NOTE: Don't confuse Bonner Cohen, with Bernard Cohen, a radon
scientist who also worked for Phillip Morris and the tobacco industry]

The theory behind the "radon" attacks on the EPA is that no industry
produces lung-cancer-causing radon, so attacks on EPA science over
radon cannot be said to be industry-skewed attacks. But radon is part
of the group which is thrown together to conceal tobacco, chlorine,
dioxins or other killers being smuggled out of bounds of regulation by
hammering the EPA from a hundred sides at once in a large Felony
Criminal Conspiracy to Defraud. This link give a demonstration of the
gang assault on the PUBLIC's Protection Agency. Bernard Cohen, Tobacco
Whitecoat, uses the radon-Alar-dioxine smokescreen frequently along
with Fumento and Hudson Institute. Hudson/Fumento is supported by
dioxin maker Monsanto, whom had been hit with so many pollution fines
($700,000,000 in Anniston, Alabama, 2004) that they want to drive EPA
out of business. Cato, founded by Koch Oil, and controlled by Koch
Oil, Philip Morris Tobacco, and others, is a main conspirator in the
EPA attacks. Koch billionaires almost went to prison in 2000 under
Clinton, but their $1 million in republican campaign contributions
bought a get-out-of-jail-free-card from Ashcroft. So Cato/Koch also
wants to kill the PUBLIC's Protection Agency, which protects us from
Killers Koch, from Killers Monsanto, from Cato, Cohen and Fumento
killers...

Should Homeowners Consider the Radon Threat a False Alarm? by
Cassandra C. Moore

Moore, formerly on the faculty at Michigan State University, is an
adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute and the author of Haunted
Housing: How Toxic Scare Stories are Spooking the Public Out of House
and Home.

The EPA ignores as well the work of University of Pittsburgh
professor Bernard Cohen, whose research has documented the inverse
relationship between radon and rates of lung cancer in 1,600 counties
containing 90 percent of the American population. In his work, a model
of clarity and rigor, he has grouped and calculated the data in more
than 100 different ways, adjusting for every conceivable variable.
Still the results hold: As the radon level in the homes increases, the
incidence of lung cancer falls.

WASHINGTON ROUNDTABLE ON SCIENCE & PUBLIC POLICY
A Discussion of Politicizing Science:
The Alchemy of Policymaking
with Michael Gough, Roger Bate & Henry Miller

Here are about 40 links to archives of evidence from the Tobacco
Conspiracy Trials -- remember the $340,000,000,000 settlement the
tobacco consortium LOST because the evidence against them was SOLID?
Bernard Cohen played a role over many years helping the tobacco serial
killers play their deception game while Americans died at the rate of
3,000 per day. Bernard Cohen slipped in little lies, among hundreds of
tobacco agents all slipping in little lies, to keep the "controversy"
going when the science was settled -- tobacco kills in 2004, in 1994,
in 1984 -- they knew it in secret in the 1950s. The "science" hasn't
changed, but the conspiracy has been blown, that's why the science
TODAY is definite, while the science during the conspiracy was
"controversial". Each piece of evidence, taken by itself is not
convincing that a conspiracy is at work -- only viewing large amounts
of the evidence is conclusive that liars like Bernard Cohen were lying
and they knew they were lying at the time they took the paychecks for
lying. By placing a large set of records here in HTML the search
engines, which cannot search the databases of the Tobacco online
archives, can find it. It would be a shame if the accessory to murder
Bernard Cohen escaped being connected to his criminal past
conspiracies, and his current criminal conspiracies, because the
search engines can't retrieve the evidence when you look him up.

A shrill rabid example of global conspiracy to defraud on all the
major Poison & Pollution issues. FAEC is the South American
bifurcation of the original Heidelberg Appeal/I.C.S.E., and H.A.N.
(Heidelberg Appeal of the Netherlands) is the other. Both are keeping
to the original P&P script established by Singer, et al, in 1993. HAN

"In practice, the Precautionary Principle has become a political tool.
An EU study traces its first application to an 1854 London outbreak of
cholera, then thought to be an airborne disease. A local doctor
noticed his patients shared a well, and removed the handle, which
slowed the outbreak. Preventive medicine became a clear regulatory
concept in 1970s Germany, when environmentalists developed the
Vorsorgeprinzip (foresight principle) to save vanishing forests. "It's
an ideal way of doing politics because you don't have to prove
anything," says Dutch scientist Jaap Hanekamp, who has written
extensively on the principle. "

http://www.techcentralstation.com/
"In a recent paper on the Precautionary Principle, Jaap Hanekamp of
the Foundation Heidelberg Appeal Netherlands (which aims at providing
the public, media and politics with objective information on the
environment, biotechnology and similar fields) notes that the
precautionary principle is ambivalent vis-à-vis scientific knowledge
and capabilities. On the one hand it emphasises that there are limits
to scientific knowledge and that this knowledge is fraught with
uncertainties: the quintessence of the justification of the
precautionary principle! On the other hand, the precautionary
principle requires scientific demonstration of absolute safety when
new products or processes are being introduced. On balance, however,
overcautiousness suppresses scientific knowledge in favour of
political considerations, false beliefs and irrational fears.
Excessive application of the precautionary principle prevents action
until there is complete certainty that it will not produce any harm.
But 100% safety can never be guaranteed. The result is paralysis and
stagnation."

When the Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change's
web site debuted September 23,1998, The Western Fuels
Association-funded Greening Earth Society issued the press release
announcing The Center's new site. Fred Palmer, head of Western Fuels,
stated in the release, "The Center's viewpoint is a needed antidote to
the misleading and usually erroneous scientific claims emanating from
the Federal scientific establishment and adopted by leading
politicians, such as Vice President Al Gore." The Center has since
tried to distance itself from the Western Fuels Association, but still
regularly publishes articles on the Greening Earth Society website.
The Center is run by Keith Idso and Craig Idso, along with their
father, Sherwood Idso. Both Idso brothers have been on the Western
Fuels payroll at one time or another. Keith Idso, then a doctoral
candidate at the University of Arizona, was a paid expert witness for
Western Fuels Association at a 1995 Minnesota Public Utilities
commission hearing in St. Paul, MN, along with MIT's Richard Lindzen,
Patrick Michaels, and Robert Balling. (The Heat is On). According to
news from Basin Electric, a Western Fuels Association member, Craig
Idso produced a report, "The Greening of Planet Earth." Its
Progression from Hypothesis to Theory," in January 1998 for the
Western Fuels Association. (The Center also came into being in January
1998, according to information provided by the Center). (Basin

Frederic Seitz, Tobacco shill, criminal felony fraud conspirator in
Organized Crime.

The corrupt Fred Seitz spent the years 1986 through 1989 directly on
the tobacco company payrolls. After 1990, when his scam was undermined
by outside science confirming tobacco health injury that neither Seitz
not the tobacco consortium could coverup, he left a trail of extensive
circumstantial evidence sufficient to lead a reasonable person to the
conclusion that he continued to receive covert and indirect tobacco
paychecks right up to the present year 2004.

There are extensive documentation pages of the Felony Conspiracy
Crimes of Fred Seitz's corruption in the following documents:

Elizabeth Whelan, Sc.D., M.P.H., President, American Council on
Science and Health http://stopexxon.unfortu.net/
FACTSHEET: Elizabeth Whelan
DETAILS

* President, American Council on Science and Health.
* Board of Advisors, Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow.
* Advisory Council, Consumer Alert.

Whelan founded American Council on Science and Health in 1978, which
was funded from the very beginning by large corporations, particularly
the chemical industry, whom she appealed to directly.

In some of her earlier public appearances, Whelan was credited as
being a doctor. This has since been discredited as Whelan has made her
academic credentials more prominent. However, she still allows
overseas organizations to misrepresent her background. In a 1996 trip
to Australia sponsored in part by the Plastics and Chemicals
Industries Association, she was described as a doctor willing to speak
from a scientific perspective on health and environmental issues. She
told Human Events Magazine (May 15, 1998) that "Ralph Nader and other
consumer-advocacy groups are out to discourage profit making and the
free-enterprise system generally."

Master in Public Health (MPH) Yale University School of Medicine in
1967, a Master of Science, Harvard School of Public Health in 1968,
and an Sc.D at the Harvard School of Public Health in 1971. EVENTS
